Meet Eva San Martin

Experienced, Understanding, and Personalized Support

Eva San Martin, founder of Bright Steps Learning, is a Texas-certified Educational Diagnostician, Reading and Dyslexia Interventionist, and educator with more than 30 years of experience in public and private schools in Texas and abroad. She is fully bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish, and bicultural. Her language skills and cultural understanding help her connect with families and consider each child’s linguistic and cultural background when discussing learning needs.

Ms. San Martin's background includes bilingual and dual-language classroom teaching, district reading intervention, dyslexia assessment and instruction, and bilingual Full Individual and Initial Evaluations. She has also worked with families and school teams through ARD/IEP, Section 504, and Response to Intervention processes.

She holds a master’s degree in curriculum from Oral Roberts University and completed Educational Diagnostician certification through Lamar University. Her training includes reading intervention programs such as Reading by Design, Esperanza, and Neuhaus Basic Language Skills Book One.
